FIXIT PERIOD, AND THEIR MANIFESTO
September 28, 2026
“Fixit Period” is the name of a new musical ensemble founded by Milas Hewson and Arianna Verbree, and which hopes to grow in membership over time. Their inaugural performance, titled “Manifesto”, will feature Petr Balaz and Josh Turnbull on guitar and percussion respectively. Fixit Period aims to explore the ways Baroque period music connects to modern music of many genres, and the ways we perform, then and now. At the end of the day, more than anything else, they want to see this as a community endeavor, celebrating the musicians who live and work here.
